In 2019 Htet and his family acquired the business with intent to expand. COVID hit shortly after, posing a challenge that they overcame. Since then River City Drafthouse has recovered and surpassed its role as a neighborhood staple.

The new owners expanded the menu to include Sushi, Hibachi style plates, and Burmese-inspired offerings, adding a very unique angle to the neighborhood

To capture this brand, we highlight warm cozy spaces, recognizable decor, and a bar scene with an eclectic selection of premium craft brews.

The bar beckoned, as did familiar faces and the waft of fresh cooked food

An otherwise dark bar illuminated by shafts of summer light accompanied an already inviting exterior. The interior is decorated with local icons, guiding the eye toward an expansive row of tap handles.

This brand is captured by warmth and friendliness. We made use of a mix of soft halation and crisp shots. The personality of the place - friendly, clean, astute - is highlighted by one of the owners himself.

As a decade+ long customer myself, I am proud to serve this long-running, now iconic establishment. River City Drafthouse is one of those "third places" that continues to be a neighborhood haven, resilient and innovative in the face of the decline of such places.
