I'm Robert Stallard, a Louisville photographer and writer focused on places, people, and the atmosphere that makes a space memorable.

Aethos Media is my studio for editorial-minded photography and visual storytelling. I work with restaurants, bars, neighborhood businesses, and publications to make images that feel lived-in, specific, and true to the character of a place.

I'm drawn to the details that often get flattened in standard brand photography: light on a back bar, the rhythm of a dining room, the gestures of staff at work, the small textures that make a business feel real. My aim is to create photographs that are useful commercially without losing their sense of observation.

I work best with owners, editors, and creative teams who care about taste, atmosphere, and local character.
